I have been using Grib.US at home where I have an internet connection for several years. I have recently gotten email capability (but not internet capability) on my boat via my ham HF radio and a new Winlink 2000 protocol called WINMOR. Is there a way that I can request a Grib,US file download via email, and then load the reply into Grib.US? I can see that when you "Save Area Settings" in Grib.US a file is formed called Settings.XML in the Grib.US folder. Can this request file be sent somewhere (where?) and then have a file come back that could be put in your grib download folder, and then be opened through Data Viewer?

NOAA had an email interface to download grib files - you just have to figure out how to compose the email and it will send you the grib. You can also do an n-day subscription to various weather products, all delivered to you inbox.
