Antimeridian view

Hi folks

first thank you very much for your site and software, really nice, and specially the accumulated precipitation, very nice for monitoring the fronts, and from my knowledge first application to do so for free.

As a suggestion, maybe it is posible but I could find out how, it would be useful an antimeridian view for selectin areas which include longitudes from -150 to +150. that is around pacific area, in a similar way as maxsea´s chopper do.

We will look at this issue (and have considered it in the past) and will see the best way to implement it. Our map backgrounds are not images and are stored in vector format which allows much greater flexibility.

This makes the Anti-Meridian view a little harder to implement but still worthwhile doing without doubt. This has been in our development 'roadmap' for a short time anyway and we will look at how best to implement it.

We cannot commit to exact timing on this but we will keep you personally informed of our progress and via this site.

Hi Ugrib,

I echo the gratitude for your program and free service.

I also agree with the suggestion about the area crossing the International Dateline. I am in Australia, and should like to select an area from about 140 E to 160 W. I don't see an easy way to do that at present.

Please advise any solution you see, or let me know if this option becomes available.
