I have the following suggestion:
Can you extend the website with an XML connector that returns the Grib data in an XML file?

Let me explain why:
Combining Grib data into existing software requires one to download Grib files and to extract the specific info from the file. That's a lot of work.
I run a free webtool that allows parapent pilots to check current wind and direction and advices whether or not one can fly. I would be great to integrate Grib files to predict flying circumstances.

Example:
I send an XML file with username, password, lat, long and send it to your server.
The server returns knots and direction in an XML document

or

I send an XML file with username, password, lat1, long1, lat2, long2, resolution and send it to your server.
The server returns knots and directions for every lat/long in an XML document.
